Wharfedale 's SW series of subwoofers deliver a level of performance never before seen in its class. Revolutionary drive units, amplifier modules and filter stages are featured in each model. They strike the perfect balance between power and sound quality, offering notable levels of sound pressure, but retaining enough control to be considered audiophile in quality. The new range of SW subwoofers comes with a number of new features. They now come with unpressed paper cones to increase self-damping, improve transient impact and increase the structural rigidity of the internal cone. The center vents are copper-coated to reduce magnetic distortion and improve heat dissipation. Even using solid, well-designed power amplifiers, the SW subwoofers are optimized for high impact at low frequencies and are ideal for movies or music.
