Sonus Faber Electa Amator II + Carrara Stands

The Electa Amator III is an exclusive compact monitor whose creators define as the latest step in the evolution of the Sonus Faber tradition concept, a process that began in 2017 with the launch of the exclusive Homage Tradition collection, followed by the second edition of the Aida reference model and continued in 2018 with the Sonetto range and the elegant Gravis active subwoofers.

All this leads to consider the Electa Amator III as the culmination of a 30-year journey, the third generation of a product generated by an expression of natural evolution that retains the elements that make Sonus Faber unique: top quality materials, exceptional workmanship and an extremely natural sound.

Thus, the cabinet harmoniously combines solid natural walnut wood, which in conjunction with the optional black anodised aluminium floor stands and Carrara marble base, forms an integral body. In the electro-acoustic field, the new Sonus Faber incorporates the main technical and design innovations used in the Italian company's most recent creations.

In the case of the tweeter, a 28 mm diameter dome model with DAD technology is used, while the reproduction of the mid and low frequencies has been entrusted to a transducer whose cone is made of an exclusive 165 mm diameter natural fibre blend, specifically developed for this project.

The Electa Amator III is completed by a crossover filter based on the unique Paracross technology of Sonus Faber, in which Clarify Cap ESA capacitors have been added to achieve a sound reminiscent of the Electa Amator I and II versions.
