The AT-ST3 speaker stands allow you to position desktop or bookshelf speakers of a similar size to achieve optimal sound projection at an upward tilt of 13 degrees, as high frequencies are highly directional. This angle also prevents sound waves from reflecting off hard surfaces, which could negatively affect audio quality.
