The height of the SX30 allows bookshelf speakers to be placed so that the tweeter is at ear level when seated. This improves stereo imaging, definition and sound fidelity by preventing treble loss due to misalignment.
Fillable column to reduce resonances
The hollow structure of the SX30 can be filled with included bags of your choice of material, adding mass to the assembly and helping to reduce unwanted vibrations. This makes for a cleaner sound, with less distortion caused by stand resonances.
Interchangeable top bases
Two sizes of top base are included to fit different speaker models: a smaller one (~13.3 × 16.5 cm) and a larger one (~16.5 × 23.5 cm). This ensures that the loudspeaker is well seated, secure and in proper contact, and allows compatibility with many types of enclosures.
Floor isolation and protection system
The SX30 comes with steel-tipped feet, silicone protective discs, and adhesive foam pads for the top plates, which help decouple the stand from the floor, reduce transmitted vibrations, and protect surfaces such as wood or laminate from marks and wear.
