Amplification
: The Class D 4-channel Hi-Fi amplifiers deliver a total power output of 250 watts, yet manage to produce a higher sound pressure level than traditional 1,000-watt soundbars.
Many users have wondered why CANVAS HiFi produces a deeper and more powerful sound than conventional soundbars, suggesting that its amplifier has a higher wattage.
There are various factors that influence this, but one of the most significant is that CANVAS has an effective acoustic volume of 23 litres, as well as two 5-inch mid-bass drivers and two 5x8-inch passive woofers, which together offer a total surface area of 592 cm², equivalent to a 12-inch speaker. Consequently, the CANVAS HiFi is extremely efficient and can deliver a louder sound with more bass than traditional soundbars.
Connectivity
includes HDMI eARC, Toslink, analogue, Apple AirPlay 2 (multi-room), Google Cast (multi-room), Roon, Tidal, Spotify Connect and DLNA.
It also features an input that is automatically activated via a control unit that can be concealed within the CANVAS, enabling connection to existing control systems such as the ‘Sonos’ app, Bluetooth, the B&O App, ‘Bluesound’, HEOS, the Bose App, the Samsung App or other control units.
