The MC152 is a compact, state-of-the-art transistorised stereo power amplifier for high quality, medium sized room systems, featuring virtually no distortion, a level of silence and an extremely lively bass response.
Aesthetically, the MC152 retains all the iconic elements of the McIntosh amplifiers with the addition of some subtle touches of modernity. Thus, the front panel uses LED backlighting to enhance both appearance and colour accuracy, while two of McIntosh 's iconic Autoformer transformers and a generous power transformer (all mounted in dedicated enclosures with glass top panels) ensure that performance is maintained at all volume levels.
The MC152, which, as is the norm at McIntosh, is entirely hand-assembled and includes top-quality active and passive components, is completed by two iconic elements of the US firm: the treated glass front panel and two stylish blue-backed analogue vumeters.
