Suitable for combination with any of McIntosh's exceptional A/V preamplifiers/processors, the MI347 is a seven-channel power amplifier designed to immerse the listener in a highly immersive listening experience.
Equipped with sophisticated Class D amplifier technology based on digital closed-loop switching and extremely robust power supplies, the MI347 also features a practical industrial design to optimise integration into a dedicated rack or cabinet.
Furthermore, the critical importance of the front channels - left, centre and right - in multi-channel soundtrack and concert reproduction has been taken into special consideration by the engineers at McIntosh by providing the MI347 with a continuous power of 250 W into 8 ohms or 300 W into 4 ohms for each of these channels, while the corresponding power for each of the other four channels is 125 W into 8 ohms or 200 W into 4 ohms.
In addition, the MI347's status as a Class D-configured amplifier means that it does not require fans to maintain its normal operating temperature. The MI347 is complete with LED level indicators and the proven Power Guard and Sentry Monitor protection systems from McIntosh.
