The IGS 10's driver is a dual voice coil design that allows you to feed separate left and right channel inputs to add up to a stereo feed into one woofer. This feature is a big help when the amplifier does not have a dedicated subwoofer output and you want to use just one IGS 10. To fill really large spaces with high-impact bass, it is advisable to feed one channel into both voice coils and use two IGS 10s. .
The IGS 10 uses an MDT metal alloy diaphragm woofer with UDIO voice coil technology along with Magnetic Liquid Suspension (MLS) technology patented by New England Audio Resource in 1993. These are the same materials and technologies used in entire IG series to ensure ringing consistency and flexibility in system design.
