The T8 is considered a streaming "transport", i.e. it performs the function of streaming from internet services but does not convert from digital to analogue, as it lacks an internal DAC. Therefore, it needs the indispensable participation of an external DAC in order to convert the audio signal to analogue, amplify it and deliver it to our ears.
The T8 supports a variety of high-fidelity audio formats, including DSD, PCM, FLAC, APE and WAV, with support for up to DSD512 and 768 kHz/32-bit PCM, providing professional studio master-level sound quality.
Eversolo's original sample rate audio engine (EOS) ensures that your music apps play back the native sample rate by bypassing sample rate conversion (SRC). It delivers accurate, lossless audio to your system.
