The X-Stream 9 is a network streamer, DAC, CD player and DAB/DAB+ and FM digital tuner.

The audio output stage, as well as the decoding part, have been particularly taken care of. Signal conversion is supported by AKM's powerful AK4490 processor. The AK4490 is part of a new generation of high-end 32-bit DACs based on AKM's Velvet Sound architecture, which has been widely adopted by established high-end audio companies. This technology delivers high-quality sound details with its low-distortion architecture, plus 32-bit resolution digital filter processing.
The AK4490 supports up to 768 kHz PCM and 11.2 MHz DSD (Direct Stream Digital), suitable for playback of high-resolution audio sources. Five digital filters are integrated into the DAC, thus optimizing sound reproduction. The AK4490EQ is suitable for converting high-resolution sound sources that the X-Stream 9 masters perfectly.
The network player part of the XStream 9 allows you to manage streaming services (Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz...), several thousand local, national and global radios, reading your music stored locally on your computer or network drive. It is also compatible with Airplay and DLNA.
Control of your network drive can be done through the ADVANCE PLAYSTREAM application which can be downloaded for free from the AppStore and Google Play.
The X-Stream 9 has a CD player that integrates the latest generation of Tamul servo that guarantees stable and qualitative playback of your CDs. The solution used combines a 16-bit processor and a 24-bit DSP. Supports CD, CD-R/RW, CD-DA (MP3/WMA) playback.
Our universal power supply is also equipped with a USB-B X-MOS input for direct connection to your PC or MAC computer. This 32-bit, 8-core "high-speed" asynchronous input allows playback of all file types up to DSD 5.6GHz.
The X'Stream 9 can be configured to a variable or fixed output to achieve a perfect match with the input level of your integrated amplifier. The volume is controlled through the remote control or the device itself.
The X-Stream 9 is also a DAC, it has 3 optical inputs and 2 optical inputs. Additionally, our player has balanced stereo (XLR) and unbalanced analog stereo (RCA) outputs, as well as two optical and coaxial digital outputs.
