The New 6000A Play Amplifier is essentially a 6000A that incorporates the DTS Play-Fi® platform for high-resolution wireless streaming playback with compatible services such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz and others in a single chassis. Another interesting feature is the compatibility with smartwatches. The DTS Play-Fi can be controlled from Android Wear and Apple Watch systems. The 6000A Play's Class AB power amplifier delivers 50W RMS per channel into 8-ohm loads and also features an integrated headphone amplifier with dedicated current feedback circuitry, delivering great sound with deep bass, a well-defined and expressive mid-range and subtle highs. By working with DTS Play-Fi (compatible with MP3, MP4A, AAC, FLAC, WAV and AIFF), it is possible to have wireless audio in different rooms, up to 32 Play-Fi equipped devices can be connected. The 6000A Play model can function as a power amplifier connected to a preamplifier or as a DAC / preamplifier to feed an external power amplifier.
