The most recent version of a great Pro-Ject classic, the MaiA DS3 is a stereo integrated amplifier that includes a total of nine inputs, including a phono input compatible with moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) capsules, four digital (one coaxial, two optical and one USB) so that the user can fully exploit its DAC functionality and a Bluetooth 5.0 compatible aptX HD.
Even more interesting for lovers of sound with capital letters is the improvement undertaken in the power amplification section, which thanks to a double monophonic circuit topology executed with audiophile grade components and very low background noise, delivers 80 continuous watts per channel out of 8 ohms or 140 continuous watts per channel over 4 ohms, both figures that ensure easy compatibility with a wide range of speakers.
Pro-Ject 's new integrated amplifier also includes a dedicated subwoofer output, a 12V continuous trigger input/output, and a high-power headphone output, as well as a set of fixed-level line outputs and another variable level in case you want to provide sound in other rooms.
