With our new A10 CLASSIC amplifier, we aimed to offer an audiophile integrated amplifier inspired by the famous X-i1100, praised for its seductive musicality and liveliness.
The A10 is fully future-proofed and easy to use. Although its classic design remains timeless, it combines an ECC81/12AT7 tube preamplifier with a 2 x 130W class AB push-pull amplifier. In short, the best of both worlds.
Modernity is also shown thanks to a microprocessor that manages all the functions enabled by the central encoder, on which a long or short press allows access to the menus.
We can scroll through the inputs: 6 analogue on RCA including an MM phono with three capacitance configurations (100, 200, 320 pf), a balanced line on XLR, 5 digital including 3 optical, one S/PDIF and one USB audio, also a connector for an optional XFTB01 aptX or XFTB02 aptX HD Bluetooth receiver. A USB-A accepts MP3 audio files from any pen drive.
Two HDMIs, including one for a blu-ray to benefit from the A10's quality audio signal, and an HDMI ARC to connect a Smart TV to the CEC protocol, can be activated in the menu within system settings.
The A10 offers the possibility of connecting two subwoofers and outputting the modulation separately to the preamplifier or amplifier.
At the rear, the High Bias switch activates class A bias.
