Compact and sophisticated, the PC-683 is a highly versatile 3-way/3-speaker system open at the rear, featuring the iconic joint treble/midrange section known as 'The Voice of Sonus Faber '. The industrial design of this versatile loudspeaker system is characterised by the placement of the mid and treble speakers on a natural leather-covered stand, in line with the aesthetics of the Olympica range. In the area of electro-acoustic technology, the use of elements imported from the high-end loudspeaker series of Sonus Faber is worth mentioning.
The tweeter is based on the Italian company's DAD (Damped Apex Dome) concept, while the mid-range speaker and woofer are equipped with a diaphragm made of natural fibre and cellulose pulp. The crossover filter has been designed - using Sonus Faber 's unique 'Paracross Topology' - to maximise the definition and purity of sound. Finally, the PC-683 is extremely easy to install and, thanks to its external clamp system, can be securely and effectively mounted to plasterboard ceilings.
