Impedance transformer
A “premium” step-up transformer with double monophonic architecture intended for moving coil (MC) cartridges, which exhibits very low noise and distortion levels, which in turn results in a more dynamic and natural sound.
To achieve this objective, its interior houses two LL1678 transformers signed by the very purist Swedish firm Lundahl with a transformation ratio that can be selected between 24 dB or 30 dB with the simple press of a button.
To this we must add a functionality that Pro-Ject is incorporating in a growing number of its models related to the playback of vinyl records: the balanced connection, as indicated by the “B” in its name, materialized in the presence of inputs and outputs with XLR connectors.
