Assembled in-house, each driver in every RUBICON model is configured to match the model for which it is intended. The three 6 ½-inch drivers used in the RUBICON 8 work together to reproduce a clean, detailed sound without colouration.

The RUBICON series builds on the heritage of the SMC-based linear drive system introduced with the EPICON series. With the use of SMC driver technology, they have gone a step further to eliminate much of the unwanted distortion.

The bass is optimised for long excursion, and the midrange driver for a wide range of useful frequencies ensuring that roll-off is handled in the interconnect and not in the driver. All this ensures that the benefit of SMC can be enjoyed by even more Hi-Fi lovers around the world. In the RUBICON series,

Dali uses both the soft dome tweeter working alone and the hybrid tweeter configuration. Obtaining an incredible representation of the high frequencies. The cone used in the RUBICON series is designed to be very light and agile in order to achieve a wider bandwidth. This cone is placed inside a powerful ferrite magnet that maintains tight control over its movements.

The ribbon tweeter controls the wide dispersion and in combination with the soft dome, the tweeter module starts working as low as 2.5 KHz. This extreme bandwidth combined with the ultra-wide dispersion is an important part of the Dali sound philosophy.

The RUBICON 2 bookshelf loudspeaker is the perfect blend of compact size and big sound performance. With an ultra-solid MDF enclosure designed to make the most of its 28mm soft dome tweeter as well as its 6.5-inch wood fibre driver and gold-plated terminals.

The cone used in the RUBICON series is based on the heritage and knowledge gained from EPICON technologies, based on a lightweight but rigid structure capable of delivering a surprisingly transparent and open sound, with a very low level of distortion or colouration.

The unique SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) technology, based on a motorised magnet system, is a key element in drastically reducing distortion and producing an incredibly clear and natural sound. Its simple yet elegant and stylish design will bring the sensations of a live performance into your home.

In the RUBICON series, Dali employs an improved, unique silk dome tweeter. This is an optimised version of the revolutionary EPICON tweeter, capable of breaking away from the traditional loudspeaker concept and providing flawless high frequency reproduction.

RUBICON VOKAL is the ultimate centre speaker. With an elegant balance of size and reproduction, RUBICON VOKAL is powerful enough to accompany the RUBICON 8, yet compact enough to fit in most living rooms. The two 6.5" woofers of wood fibre construction deliver a clear and good midrange in conjunction with the hybrid tweeter module.

The size of the housing helps the RUBICON VOKAL to reproduce even the lowest bass frequencies to transport the viewer to the film or to play music in a breathtaking way. Like the rest of the RUBICON range , it includes gold-plated bi-wired terminals.
