Maximum expression of Ortofon 's talent in terms of headshells, the LH-10000 is an absolute reference headshell made of a high-performance alloy based on aluminum and zinc. Specifically, the aluminum used has a robustness comparable to that of steel, while exhibiting good fatigue resistance, is easy to machine and offers greater corrosion resistance than other aluminum alloys.
On the other hand, the LH-10000 includes a piece of Ortofon 's exclusive thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)-based compound (characterized by its excellent absorbing properties) to minimize the effects of possible resonances, while the connection cables are identical to the sophisticated LW-800S from Ortofon in order to optimize signal transmission and guarantee maximum tonal precision. As with all cartridge holders, it is essential to know the dimensions since this will facilitate the correct assembly and alignment of the arm and the capsule.
