The entry-level model of the renewed Sonetto "collection", the Sonetto III G2 is a stylish column that masterfully reflects Sonus Faber 's commitment to Italian craftsmanship and audio innovation at the highest level.
It uses a 2.5-way/2-speaker bass-reflex configuration, featuring a 28 mm diameter silk dome tweeter with effective DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology and two 165 mm midwoofers, whose peripheral suspension exhibits a unique floral pattern that not only adds visual elegance, but also helps to reduce interference and increase the linearity range.
Furthermore, in order to maximise the performance inherent in a 2.5-way system, the Sonetto III G2 incorporates two bass-reflex ports, a rear port on the main midwoofer and a lower-emission port on the booster midwoofer.
This set of speakers is managed by a Phase Coherent frequency divider filter to synchronise the phase rotations of the speakers, while on the acoustic side there is a classic lute-shaped profile made of high-quality wood panels from Sonus Faber, an elegant concrete base and a new round cover that protects the connection terminals (specifically designed for bi-wiring).
