A new larger 90° x 90° silicone composite hybrid Tractrix horn provides incredibly efficient transfer of high-frequency waves to the listening area for crisper, clearer sound. The phase connector and compression-moulded silicone face ensure a smooth frequency response.
The unique 1" (25 mm) LTS tweeter minimises distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of the Reference Premiere series above, making them a core component of some of the world's finest loudspeakers.
The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in improved detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.
A hallmark of the Reference Premiere Series speakers, the 8" (203 mm) dual main channel and 6.5" (165 mm) Cerametallic woofers in the height channel have been upgraded for absolutely flawless sound reproduction, minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofer will deliver the power, detail and excitement you expect from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker.
Utilising Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port allows for more efficient and faster air transfer from the enclosure, reducing bass reflex port noise for more punchy low frequencies and cleaner, more powerful bass.
Dual input terminals for dual wiring/bi-amping capabilities separate high and low frequency current on different speaker wires, reducing distortion for a clearer midrange. Bi-amping allows for further performance optimisation with separate external power stages for the high and low frequency drivers.
