The Habitat1 is a prodigious wireless subwoofer reproduction system designed to be mounted on a wall, thus minimising its intrusion into any room.
It comes with a transmitter module to which we can connect the output of our amplifier or AV receiver and this will wirelessly send the sound signal to the subwoofer which only requires a power connection nearby. The link will occur automatically, making installation and decoration easier by avoiding long interconnecting cables.
Characterised by its extremely slim profile (115 mm deep) and its irreproachable finish (glossy lacquered in Piano White or Piano Black), the Habitat1 takes advantage of REL Acoustics' unique experience and engineering to combine an active/passive loudspeaker system with 200 watts continuous Class D amplifier electronics and full connectivity to deliver class-leading performance in terms of both accuracy and naturalness and bass response extension, whether in a Hi-Fi stereo, Home Cinema or custom installation.
