PrimaLuna introduces the world's first tube-based data clock device: the SuperTubeClock.

The SuperTubeClock replaces the solid-state oscillator normally found in a DAC with a mini-triode vacuum valve.

By using a valve, the amount of vibration and noise is significantly reduced, resulting in superior detail recovery. This in turn produces superior top-to-bottom detail and dynamics and improved overall musicality.

The valve is a very rugged, long-lasting, military-grade Russian-made triode designed specifically for oscillation purposes which is its function here.

Triode valves are inherently low noise devices and extremely linear when used correctly, this means that the oscillation frequency waveform it produces is very pure and clean.ç
