Klipsch Launched in 2016 with The One loudspeaker, the range of active bookshelf speakers has regularly welcomed new references, monoblock type or in true stereo configuration, via a pair of speakers.
The Sevens are therefore presented in the form of a pair of compact active speakers capable of advantageously replacing the classic Hi-Fi system in the living room. And thanks to its connections, it even transmits the sound of your TV to extend the sound reproduction of your favourite programmes.
In addition, Klipsch The Sevens incorporate the latest technologies to meet new consumer habits and offer optimum sound quality. This is the case with Bluetooth 5.0 apt-x certification to enjoy streaming a music library via a subscription to a dedicated service (Deezer, Apple Music, etc.) or music files stored on a suitable device: smartphone, tablet, games console, computer..
In other words, in addition to streaming, the Klipsch The Sevens allow you to enjoy a sound source connected to its 3.5 mm mini-Jack auxiliary input or to the RCA/Phono stereo input with integrated preamp for connecting a turntable. We also note an asynchronous USB-B port and an optical input, enough to eventually connect a number of audio sources plus an RCA subwoofer output to reinforce the low frequency impact if needed.
As with the Klipsch The Fives and The Fives McLaren edition, an HDMI ARC input to easily retrieve the sound signal from a TV. Simply connect them to the TV to multiply the sound show, just like a soundbar can offer.
Technically, each Klipsch The Sevens speaker is built around a 25.4 mm tweeter with a wide-diffusion Tractrix Horn and a 16.5 cm composite fibre cone woofer, all associated with Class D amplification offering a total power of 220W (2 x 80 W + 2 x 30 W).
The Klipsch The Sevens are configured in bi-amplification to enhance sound quality. For impeccable sound reproduction and to easily use high-resolution audio files, a 192 kHz/24-bit Dac (digital-to-analogue converter) is present and control of Klipsch The Sevens is ensured via the transport buttons located on top of a speaker. or via the Klipsch application.
Finally, it is possible to assign each speaker to the right or left channel, thus greatly simplifying the ergonomics of the system. In fact, it is necessary to have a power socket not far from the main speaker.
