Even so, this does not prevent the Phantom II from exhibiting unusual power for a product in its class, as evidenced by the 600 watts of peak power it is capable of in its 95 version or the even more impressive 900 watts of peak power of the Phantom II 98.
Like the other Phantom models, the Phantom II is microprocessor-driven, features Internet connectivity and benefits from the most advanced version of the development that has made Devialet an icon of high-end audio: ADH "Intelligence", now ADH3, which combines the refinement of Class A analogue amplification with the power of its Class D digital counterpart. In addition, the new version of the French brand's famous SAM Processing, called SAM2, thanks to an exclusive algorithm and the power of the signal processing platform of Devialet, optimises the synergy between amplifier and loudspeakers by managing the intimate operating parameters of both systems.
In terms of loudspeaker equipment, the Phantom II is equipped with a wide bandwidth aluminium dome midrange/treble transducer and two woofers, also with aluminium diaphragms. A key detail is that both woofers are mounted in an enclosure made of double-injected composite material, consisting of an inner layer of glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate and an outer shell of polished ABS.
