The Align it PRO is an extraordinarily precise tool that makes aligning all types of pickup cartridges incredibly fast and efficient. To do this, the user can configure it with the exact length of their reading arm and fix it on the axis of rotation of the platter, an approach that allows, for example, the adjustment of the “overhang” distance immediately and with extreme precision.
As far as alignment geometries are concerned, the Align it PRO uses the Baerwald for its great versatility, seeking the ideal balance in tracking the external and internal grooves while maintaining excellent linearity in the central part of the disc. Like the Align it DS3, this jig is suitable for all Pro-Ject turntables, as well as many third-party models, depending on the distance between the arm (pivot) and platter rotation axes.
