The Tube Box S2 features a fully dedicated circuit design without using any operational amplifiers (OpAmps). It is also the first product Pro-Ject that comes with replaceable tubes for tube lamination and sound shaping. This gives the customer many options to choose and alter the sound signature according to their preferences. Tube Box S2 will give a relaxed, full sound with lush mids, just as you would expect from a much larger high-end tube phono pre-amp. It offers support for MM and MC cartridges and comes with many gain settings that can be changed on the front panel. Five variable input impedance settings are available to suit any MM cartridge, the 47,000 ohms input impedance setting is fixed and suitable for high performance MC cartridges. The aluminium/metal housing matches the DS2 line in appearance and protects against vibration and electromagnetic interference for superior sound.
