Building on the legacy of the celebrated STEREO 130, the STEREO 230 is a stereo integrated amplifier that delivers 75 watts continuous per channel into 8 ohms or 115 watts continuous per channel into 4 ohms, while an ARC-compatible HDMI socket ensures top-level sound quality during playback of audio-visual content.
The new LEAK can also be connected to an extensive repertoire of audio sources, from turntables equipped with a moving magnet (MM) cartridge to optical disc players, streamers and even Bluetooth devices.
The purist ethos of the STEREO 230 is reflected in many details of its design, such as the use of JFET transistors in the RIAA equalisation stage of the phono section to ensure full compatibility with the standards set by the audio industry for the playback of vinyl records.
The new LEAK is also equipped with a dedicated headphone amplifier with current feedback topology whose performance is perfectly comparable to the best designs on the market.
The exquisite engineering of the STEREO 230 also manifests itself in an uncompromisingly designed DAC section, using one of the renowned ES9018 Sabre32 Reference 32-bit ESS Technology chips from California-based ESS Technology, which allows the LEAK to exhibit particularly sparkling registers in terms of background noise and dynamic range, both essential parameters in the restitution of both traditional digital content and Hi-Res files.

The Leak CDT offers the highest available standard of CD playback sound reproduction in this price class. Its vintage design makes it the perfect match for the Leak Stereo 130 amplifier.
The CDT is equipped with USB storage device playback functionality and uses an ultra-smooth slot-loading mechanism that exudes quality and reliability.
The CD transport is carefully mounted within its own electromagnetically shielded enclosure and a dedicated power supply is provided.
The digital clock is controlled by a temperature compensated crystal oscillator which ensures that the digital output from the coaxial and optical sockets has minimal digital distortion, so digital signal extraction is exceptionally accurate.
The USB storage device playback function offers full transport controls and folder/file navigation.
The Leak CDT is compatible with FAT16 and FAT32 formatted devices and will play WMA, MP3, WAV and AAC format media.
Features:
- High quality CD transport-reader with digital output.
- Requires connection to a DAC amplifier with digital inputs.
- Coaxial and optical digital outputs.
- Trigger jacks.
- USB Type A input compatible with WAV, MP3, AAC and WMA audio codecs.
- USB compatible with external hard disk formats FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32.

bookshelf speakers
A more opulent version of the profound remodeling to which the legendary Sandwich speaker, originally marketed in 1961, has been subjected, the Sandwich 250 is an imposing 3-way/3-speaker bass-reflex monitor that combines 1 textile-covered dome tweeter with 30 mm, 1 midrange driver with 108 mm Sandwich cone and a woofer with 280 mm Sandwich cone.
Reintroduced and carefully redesigned using the lessons of more than six decades of research and development in electroacoustics, the new generation cone that mounts the transducers responsible for reproducing the mid and low frequencies of the spectrum consists of an extremely rigid aluminum coating on the external surfaces and a very thick core, made of a structural foam based on polymethacrylate (PMI), often used by the aerospace and automotive industries.
The tweeter has also been the subject of an intense redesign process, incorporating a rear chamber with internal damping in order to absorb the rear wave of the transducer. This innovation not only isolates the tweeter from the rest of the set, but has the additional benefit of reducing its resonance frequency, something that in turn increases the level of integration of the different areas of the audio spectrum, improving the restitution of harmonics and therefore the capacity for analysis.
Characteristics:
- Very high-performance 3-way bass-reflex bookshelf monitor.
- Bass speaker with 280 mm Sandwich cone.
- Midrange speaker with 135 mm Sandwich cone.
