The engineering refinement behind this product can be seen in the use of such advanced solutions as hardware based on a quad-core processor with an operating frequency of 1.8 GHz per core, which ensures robust and seamless operation in accessing remote content.

The 9000N, which is Roon Ready certified, is complemented by extremely agile management courtesy of an evolved version of the renowned Lumin app, which facilitates direct access to such prestigious online music services as TIDAL and Qobuz. This "app" offers intelligent search functionalities and full access to control and even create user-defined playlists and folders, as well as album grouping functions.

Like its big brother, the more compact Aura Series is an elegant 3-way/4-speaker bass-reflex loudspeaker cabinet designed to make the qualities for which Wharfedale's flagship range, the sensational Elysian, is renowned available to a wider audience.

This is why it includes such highly appreciated technical refinements as an AMT tweeter transducer, midrange and bass speakers with a matrix cone structure, the innovative SLLP "perimetric" bass-reflex port and a flawlessly finished external construction. The AMT ("Air Motion Transformer"), unlike conventional dome or planar/ribbon designs, moves the air in a very different way thanks to the use of a folded diaphragm of large dimensions and very low mass, which substantially improves the definition and response to transients.

The Aura 3 is completed by an enclosure constructed with panels made up of multiple layers of different woods following the PROS ("Panel Resonance Optimisation System") scheme, which prevents internal vibrations from being transmitted to the speakers and interfering, by colouring it, with the sound emitted by the speakers.
