The Stereo 130 is optimised for MM moving magnet cartridges, the JFET-based circuitry provides accurate RIAA equalisation in accordance with vinyl industry standards. It uses a dedicated amplifier circuit with current feedback technology for the headphone output. The result is dynamic, detailed and engaging performance with all types of headphones. It incorporates the acclaimed ES9018 Sabre32 reference chip with ESS Technology's 32-bit HyperStream architecture and time domain jitter eliminator to deliver ultra-low noise, high dynamic range digital audio files with up to 284 kHz (PCM) DSD256 sampling rate.
The Leak CDT offers the highest available standard of CD playback sound reproduction in this price class. It is equipped with a front USB Type A port and uses an ultra-smooth slot-loading mechanism that exudes quality and reliability. The CD transport is carefully mounted within its own electromagnetically shielded enclosure and a dedicated power supply is provided. The digital clock is controlled by a temperature compensated crystal oscillator which ensures that the digital output from the coaxial and optical sockets has minimal digital distortion, so digital signal extraction is exceptionally accurate. The USB storage device playback function offers full transport controls and folder/file navigation.
