Situated at the pinnacle of the Lumina "collection", the Lumina V Amator is a distinguished column that represents a step forward in style and performance, in order to elevate a listening experience unanimously appreciated the world over. "Amator" is a highly evocative name in the history of Sonus Faber, as it has characterised all the special models developed by the brand over the years, becoming synonymous with uniqueness and exclusivity.
On the aesthetic level, the square-based enclosure that identifies the Lumina range is preserved, highlighting the use of new wooden front panels and a dedicated glossy veneer finish.
In terms of technology, the main innovation compared to the Lumina V is the frequency divider filter, which draws on the advances included in the most recent generation of the elite Homage series, such as the IFF (Interactive Fusion Filtering) circuitry and the phase coherent philosophy, to offer improvements in the resolution and coherence of the three-dimensional presentation of the sound.
In terms of the electro-acoustic configuration employed, the Lumina V Amator is a 3-way, 4-speaker bass-reflex system, namely one of the refined 29 mm hand-coated silk dome tweeters D.A.D. (Damped Apex Dome) used in the Sonetto range from Sonus Faber, a 150 mm multi-fibre cone midrange speaker also imported from the Sonetto range and three 165 mm sandwich diaphragm woofers designed specifically for the Lumina series.
