RUBICON LCR has been awarded the EISA 2014-2015 award for the best On-Wall speaker. Located on the wall and with a rotating tweeter, it is a unique speaker in its class that delivers all the dynamism of a floor or bookshelf speaker and unrivaled bass.
Integrated into the new RUBICON range, this full-range wall-mounted speaker incorporates a modified version of the hybrid high-frequency module first seen in the EPICON series of the same brand. This module is made up of a 29 mm diameter soft dome tweeter combined with a 15 x 45 mm, 1 mm thick ribbon tweeter, which can be rotated to disperse the sound throughout the room if necessary. The speaker is placed horizontally, thus avoiding the traditional physical limitation of the optimal listening point.
A 16.5 cm wood fiber cone is responsible for reproducing the bass while two hidden bass-reflex ports located in the rear area of the cabinet enhance the lower octaves of the spectrum. Sleek and flexible as ever (it can also be mounted on a stand or shelf), the RUBICON LCR is a captivating solution for both stereophonic and multichannel sound.
