The Thorens TD 1600 combines the tradition of the brand's past with XXI.Externamente century technology. Externally quite similar to the previous famous 160 series with classic wooden plinth, two-part platter with internal belt and thick rubber mat, arm board and acrylic dust cover, contains many innovations inside. The conical springs for the subframe are no longer mounted on the top plate, but are placed on the inferior.Adem Additionally, a small (but tightly tightened) steel thread connects the subframe to a steel pin at the bottom. and prevents the subframe from wobbling and only allows vertical movement. A powerful control unit is responsible for the engine speed.
