Specifically designed to be installed against a wall and reproduce any of the channels of a home theater system, the exquisite, compact and ultra-slim Sonetto Wall uses an active / passive-based 2-way, 3-speaker configuration to display responsive in generous, distortion-free bass in “sensitive” locations. As regards the speakers used, they have been specifically designed for the Sonetto range by Sonus Faber. First, we have a 29mm diameter silk dome tweeter with DAD technology (“Damped Apex Dome”) and viscoelastic decoupling from the front panel. This tweeter is complemented by a 150mm diameter “midwoofer” with a cone composed of a special natural fiber and a blend of air-dried raw paper pulp, which provides extreme linearity and very low dynamic compression. The set is managed by an anti-resonant design crossover filter with amplitude and phase curves optimized to obtain the best possible performance both at a spatial and temporal level. Executed with audiophile grade components and tuned by ear, this filter allows the Sonetto Wall to reproduce frequencies of the order of 60 Hz with extreme fidelity and withstand attack powers of up to 150 watts, which provides great versatility in all types of Applications.
