The basic model with 3T technology consists of 12 conductors of a respectable thickness, each of which is made up of 42 3T wires of 0.23 mm diameter.
The 4-wire construction provides the user with the ability to bi-wire their loudspeakers, while the extra ground return wire in the centre allows for a separate ground connection between the frequency divider filter shield (a technology commonly used by the British loudspeaker manufacturer Tannoy) and a separate ground socket on the amplifier or power amplifier.
It should also be noted that the 3T The Air Hybrid is terminated in van den Hul's exclusive 3T rhodium-plated Berri connectors.
