It outputs 350 watts per channel efficiently and reliably, more than enough to power any outdoor speaker at concert-level volumes even with considerable cable runs that reduce impedance. With its integrated professional-grade digital signal processor (DSP), you can optimize the performance of any channel-controlled system regardless of its frequency response, crossovers, phase/arrival time, and dynamic range. The 3XL's dual mono design allows each channel to simultaneously drive any speaker load from low impedance (4/8-Ohm) to 70/ 100V.Pero But what makes the 3XL stand out is its wide range of digital features that allow integrators to Optimize the performance of any outdoor speaker and subwoofer combination.
The 3XL DSP engine provides 12-band parametric equalization, adjustable crossover filters, adjustable peak limiter, RMS compressor, plus phase and time delay for each channel. Despite the complexity of these features, the 3XL is very easy to set up and use. NEAR has programmed in sixteen preset, perfectly crossover, EQ, and power-limited configurations tuned for the most common NEAR speaker combinations. More advanced users can access the full range of DSP controls through a GUI accessed via a laptop connected to the Ethernet port.
