Genuinely monophonic in design, the Quintet Mono mounts, in the characteristic body of special ABS-based thermoplastic material developed for the Quintet range, an elliptical Nude stylus that constitutes an excellent solution for the playback of monophonic vinyl records with microgrooves.

Thanks to the sophistication of its mobile system, the Quintet Mono will perfectly read even warped or damaged discs, also ensuring effective control of surface noise. The Quintet Mono uses a configuration developed by Ortofon (with high-purity silver windings) to deliver the same output signal in either of its two pairs of connectors, eliminating the need for specific components for the reading of monophonic discs and therefore allows the latter to be played with any conventional stereo system.
