Inspired by the iconic A49, this compact system inherits its musicality, precision and purist philosophy, while incorporating the power of next-generation Class G amplification and a completely redesigned digital platform. Arcam SA45 combines the warmth of Class A with the efficiency of Class AB thanks to its fifth-generation Class G amplification, developed by the engineers at Arcam to give you the best of both worlds.
Its internal architecture consists of a six-layer PCB with a large ground plane running through it that reduces electrical noise and keeps interference away from sensitive circuitry, ensuring clean and quiet reproduction even at high volume levels. Meanwhile, the digital heart is made up of the ESS Hyperstream IV DAC, configured in balanced mode and with advanced jitter elimination, allowing you to listen with exceptional clarity and depth.
In addition, its linear power supply with toroidal transformer ensures a constant and clean power supply, while its high-power output circuit delivers 180 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 300 watts per channel at 4 ohms. The result is a wide, stable and accurate soundstage, capable of driving demanding speakers with surprising ease.
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) is virtually negligible (0.002%), the signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 110 dB and the response is virtually flat with only a 0.2dB deviation across the entire spectrum, achieving a level of transparency that allows every nuance to be perceived with absolute realism.
The room is no longer an obstacle to perfect sound. Thanks to Dirac Live Room Correction, Arcam SA45 allows you to analyse the acoustics of your environment and adjust the frequency response so that you always hear a balanced reproduction. In addition, two independent subwoofers can be connected so that the bass sounds deep and controlled, without unwanted resonance.
It also includes inputs for MM and MC cartridges, allowing you to connect any turntable and enjoy vinyl with the warmth and detail characteristic of analogue sound.
What's more, Arcam SA45 offers a musical universe without limits. Through the Arcam Radia App, direct access to Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast and, soon, Roon Ready, is possible to enjoy multi-room music in the highest quality. It also supports UPnP servers, USB sticks and local storage drives such as a NAS.
It even plays virtually any format: FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, DSD, AAC, MP3 and OGG, with support for up to 32-bit resolution and 384 kHz, as well as DSD256.
And on its high-resolution 8.8-inch front display, album art, track information and active source can be viewed in exceptional clarity.
Arcam SA45 integrates all the connection options you could need: there's an HDMI eARC input to connect your TV and enjoy your movies in Hi-Fi quality, plus two coaxial digital inputs, two optical TOSlink inputs and a TOSLink digital output for other devices.
For analogue sources, there are three pairs of RCA inputs, a balanced XLR stereo input and the aforementioned MM and MC phono inputs. Also included are balanced and unbalanced preamplified stereo output, balanced and unbalanced dual subwoofer output, headphone jack, 12V trigger, IR input and RS232 port for integration with external control systems such as Crestron.
On the wireless side, it features Bluetooth 5.4 with support for LE Audio, AAC, Snapdragon Sound and Auracast, allowing wireless audio sharing with multiple compatible devices.
Arcam SA45 is designed to put the user in complete control. In fact, you can easily play music from the Arcam Radia app or control it via its included remote control. It features a smooth and intuitive interface and its setup menu allows you to adjust equalisation, source, data network and advanced options intuitively.
Meanwhile, its exterior design combines elegance and functionality: a rigid metal aluminium casing with a satin finish and minimalist lines that reflect the contemporary aesthetics of the Radia range. The assembly rests on an anti-vibration base that enhances stability and reduces resonance.
Each unit is manufactured in Cambridge, UK, under strict quality controls and components selected to ensure reliability and longevity.
With dimensions of 432 x 390 x 140 millimetres and a net weight of 17 kilograms, this amplifier combines presence, solidity and engineering that feels as good to listen to as it does to play.
Finally, its standby power consumption is less than 0.5 watts, meeting European efficiency standards; while its passive ventilation ensures quiet operation even during prolonged sessions.

Perfect, excellent service, I received it from the store because I am from Greece.
Great service and advice from the team. I upgraded my floor standing speakers and got very useful advice from Concerto Audio. Plus the speakers arrived within 24 hours too! Oh, and the speakers sound even better in my home. Well done, excellent.
I haven't bought from a proper hifi shop in many years. Decided I wanted a birthday present and so ended up in Concerto. A very pleasing experience. Excellent customer service from the young lady. Very happy with my purchase. I will return.
Great store. They have some great products for hifi lovers at very competitive prices. Wonderful attitude by the people who work there. I was able to do some A/B testing with different equipment and hook up my own DAC in their listening room. I am...
